Programming Education Through Game-Based Learning and Quizzes

This study evaluates the integration of game-based learning and quizzes in the Technical University of Kosice pro-ˇ gramming curriculum to enhance student engagement, problemsolving skills, and motivation through interactive tasks. Initial findings show high student participation in game-based activities, though challenges such as assignment complexity and technological barriers affected overall motivation. The results indicate that well-structured game-based learning and quizzes foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while maintaining student interest in programming education despite needing more guidance in complex tasks.
