Research on the Application of Software Support Analysis (SSA) in Civil Aircraft Life Cycle

The new generation of aircraft uses a large number of onboard software to realize system functions and interactions, which brings challenges to traditional aircraft development and operational support. In this paper, the SSA (Software Support Analysis) method is used to analyze the onboard software from the support view during the civil aircraft life cycle, including SSA candidates selection in the early stages, as well as the detailed analysis of various software support tasks. This research provides a set of solutions which enable the reasonable supportability of onboard software at all stages of the civil aircraft life cycle, as well as establishing the most cost-effective software support concept.
