Disruptive Technological Directions for 6G Security

6G networks will be highly distributed environments, integrating a diverse set of critical infrastructures and a growing user base, each with unique security requirements. The expected key performance indicators (KPIs) of 6G—faster connectivity, low latency, higher bandwidth, and increased resource efficiency—necessitate significant changes to the existing security landscape, from the architecture to the underlying infrastructure.
