Generation of equivalent Cauer-type canonic ladder networks

A new straightforward procedure is developed that synthesizes the two-element kind driving-point functions in all possible ladder configurations using minimum number of elements. The procedure is then applied to the realization of equivalent ladder networks for a given transfer function.
