Multi Dimensional Power Grid Operation Risk Assessment Based on Adaptive Weighting Algorithm

The traditional risk assessment methods for power grid operation often rely on expert experience, which is difficult to adapt to the new situation of continuously expanding power grid system scale and relatively more complex operating environment. This article provides a multidimensional risk assessment method for power grid operation, which adopts an adaptive weighting algorithm and can automatically identify the relative importance of risk factors introduced in these dimensions using a large amount of historical data. At the same time, the weight allocation of each risk factor can be dynamically established to comprehensively analyze and evaluate the complex power grid operation environment. Through ten typical test scenarios, it has been proven that the adaptive weighting algorithm can effectively evaluate risks in complex power grid operations, with an average accuracy and recall rate of 98.6% and 99.3%, respectively. At the same time, it has been demonstrated that the average evaluation time for evaluating risks in each scenario is 1.15 seconds, thereby improving efficiency. The results presented in this article strongly demonstrate the effectiveness of adaptive weighting algorithms in providing dynamic weight allocation for risk models, multidimensional risk modeling, and supporting safe operation and maintenance of power grids.
