Investigation of Force Measurement Processes of Load Cells Using STM32G030F6P6TR Microcontroller and HX711 24 Bit Analog to Digital

Load cells are sensors that convert forces into electronic signals and are commonly used in weight and force measurements. This study explores converting the force on a load cell into an electronic signal. The circuit board design employs the STM32G030F6P6TR microcontroller and HX711 24-bit analog-to-digital converter to process the load cell signal. Serial connection topology ensures data communication between the circuit board and a computer. For user interaction, measured data is displayed on an OLED screen and monitored via a computer terminal. Calibration parameters were set using calibrated weights. Once the accuracy of the weight data was verified, it was converted into force. A tare function was applied to eliminate excess weight on the load cell, ensuring accurate calibration. The results, including weight, calculated force, and maximum force, were displayed and reported on the OLED and terminal screens.
