Modeling of Active Suppression Technology for Radiated EMI Generated by the SMPS

Passive shielding technology is a feasible and effective suppression technology for switching-mode power supply system. However, there are some disadvantages such as low shielding effectiveness (SE) and poor selecting for frequency with current passive shielding technology. In order to cope with it, a kind of radiated EMI active cancellation technology is proposed and the model of the radiated EMI active cancellation (REAC) system is built. Finally, an experimental platform is established. The experimental results show that the proposed technical of radiated EMI active cancellation can effectively suppress radiated EMI.
