Evaluation of Power Delay Profiles in the Vicinity of Human Body at 300GHz Band

Delay profile characteristics at 300 GHz in the vicinity of the human body were evaluated in order to realize the virtualized terminal technology that increase the uplink speed of 6G mobile communication. In case Rx is set next to the right ear, delayed waves due to reflections at the cheek and chest were observed in addition to the direct wave. The delay spread was approximately 0.030 ns, with little difference observed between cases with and without wigs. In case Rx is placed on the wrist, the reflection waves at the wrist and abdomen were observed and the delay spread was about 0.033 ns.
