A Front-end Readout Sensor with a DC offset Cancellation for Biomedical Applications

This paper presents a front-end readout sensor for biomedical applications. An analog receiving circuit processes the baseband signals, which are fabricated by the UMC 180nm CMOS process, operating at a voltage of 1.8V. A 4^th order complementary source follower low-pass filter is proposed and designed to reject the unwanted out-of-band interferences. Moreover, a DC offset cancelling mechanism is incorporated into the receiving sensor to avoid signal saturation in the following stages.
