Spaceborne SAR Antenna Development Status and Plans Suitable for Tip and Cue Monitoring

The concept of tip and cue monitoring is to find the location of a suspicious object using a wide-area observation sensor and then take a closer look using a high-resolution satellite sensor. Efficient surveillance can be achieved through a constellation that combines a large SAR satellite based on active phased array antenna and SAR satellites equipped with light weight reflectors. We present the development status and future development plans of spaceborne SAR antennas suitable for tip and cue monitoring.
