Simulation Analysis of Multiplexing Drive Circuit for Spaceborne Stepper Motor

Stepper motor is widely used in various space optical load mechanism, the number of traditional drive circuits and motors is consistent. This paper designs the multiplexing drive circuit for spaceborne stepper motor, which can effectively reduce the volume, weight and cost of the circuit. In order to ensure the long-term reliable operation of the circuit, the selection of diode parameters in the multiplexing drive circuit is crucial. In view of the situation that the oscilloscope can not directly measure the transient high voltage, it is necessary to invert the voltage value with current. The simulation model of stepper motor multiplexing drive circuit is established based on simulation software, and the influence of oscilloscope probe on diode voltage test is analyzed. The simulation results show that for the controlled load stepper motor, the voltage value of the diode measured is reduced by nearly 24V compared with the actual value due to the influence of oscilloscope probe. For the actual circuit, it is necessary to consider the reasonable configuration of diodes to prevent the circuit damage caused by reverse overvoltage.
