Efficient Antenna Design for Vehicular Communication

Article is for vehicle-to-vehicle communication antenna design. Vehicular Technology is evolving for communication and connectivity of the Vehicles. Due to the advancement in the vehicular technology efficient antenna design is required for V2V communication. The designed antenna resonates at 2.45 GHz and 5.9 GHz frequencies, which is suitable for Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication. In real time Vehicular communication, antenna found effective and promising. Antenna gain is 4.5 dB for 5.9 GHz frequency. Antenna can be used for at 2.45 GHz frequency for in vehicular communication for infotainment. The antenna efficiency is 95.4 % at 5.9 GHz.The results for the antenna designed are analyzed using HFSS. Designed antenna can be utilized for V2V communication to connect and data transmission.
