Fast Numerical Simulation of Electric Field Distribution in Dielectric-Loaded Multimode Cavity

This paper introduces a fast numerical simulation for analyzing dielectric-loaded multimode cavities using the electric field of active elements. The proposed method was applied to a cavity (700×600×500mm³) containing water, where the magnitude and phase of the power source for each port were also adjusted. The accuracy and reliability of the proposed method are verified through a 3D electromagnetic full simulation. The proposed method not only reduces the time required to analyze field distributions within complex cavity geometries but also demonstrates its practical applicability in advanced microwave heating technologies.
