A Partial Band Reconstruction Scheme for Sub-Band Full-Duplex Digital Self-Interference Cancellation

As a potential technology for future 6G, sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) technology is currently one of the research hotspots. Self-interference cancellation (SIC) is crucial on this technology. Due to the nonlinear devices such as power amplifiers (PAs), conventional digital SIC schemes often require a sampling rate much higher than the source signal bandwidth (three times or more) for digital signal processing. However, when processing wideband signals, these schemes will put forward higher requirements for hardware equipment and significantly increase power consumption. Therefore, this paper proposes a low sampling rate SIC architecture for partial band, including the PBR-DPD scheme at the transmitter and the PBR-DSIC at the receiver. Simulation results show that the proposed SIC architecture can achieve similar cancellation performance as the conventional full-band SIC scheme when the sampling rate is the same as the source signal bandwidth.
