Monotonic magnitude response with equal ripple sensitivity

Sensitivity of all pole filters with critical monotonic (CM) magnitude characteristic is optimized in a mini-max sense, and a new class of transitional monotonic filters is introduced. Comparison with other monotonic filters is also given.
