Robust Direction of Arrival Estimation with Time Modulated Arrays using Modified MUSIC Algorithm

This paper proposes a robust direction of arrival estimation scheme using Modified MUSIC algorithm for Time-Modulated Linear Antenna arrays for, both coherent and non-coherent, low SNR signals. The performance of the proposed method is further verified for varying number of elements, inter-element spacing, incident angles, and SNR values and compared with the MUSIC algorithm. The simulation results show that direction of arrival estimation with Time Modulated Linear Array using Modified MUSIC performs better than MUSIC algorithm.
