Dual-Port LCL-S with Very Low Frequency Resonant Wireless Power Transfer System for the Battery

The growing demand for efficient and reliable power delivery systems, particularly for battery storage applications, has led to the development of advanced Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technologies. This paper presents a dual-port LCL-S resonant WPT system designed for very low-frequency operation, offering distinct advantages such as reduced electromagnetic interference and enhanced safety. The system employs a single-phase shift modulation (PSM) technique to maintain system stability while controlling power transfer between dual input ports. Through detailed simulations using MATLAB/Simulink, the system’s performance is evaluated, demonstrating its ability to provide stable and efficient power transfer, especially in low-frequency applications. The results highlight the system’s potential for electric vehicle (EV) charging and other applications requiring reliable wireless power delivery. The proposed dual-port configuration enhances system robustness by ensuring continuous power supply, even under varying grid conditions.
