Design of Low Earth Orbit Satellite-Based Switch System

The satellite internet is the primary focus of the space economy, with low-earth orbit satellites being the trend in its development. Onboard satellite switches are responsible for facilitating data transmission between satellites and ground stations, as well as between satellites themselves, making them a crucial component in the design of low-earth orbit satellites. This paper aims to elucidate the issues and challenges faced in the design of onboard satellite switches for low-earth orbit satellites, and proposes an implementation scheme for these switches. It provides detailed insights into the design and concepts of the key components, and concludes with an analysis of the impending challenges in the development of low-earth orbit satellites, calling for collaborative efforts among researchers in satellite communication and offering insights to the research community.
