Easy Automatic Assembled Robot Design by Modular Design for Robotic Assembly

This paper proposes a novel design for a robot arm that is easy to assemble, addressing the growing demand for efficient and flexible automation in industrial applications. The robot arm is composed of three distinct modules: a rotary joint for rotational movement, a base joint for foundational support, and a linear joint for linear motion. Each joint module can be easily assembled by assembling the parts from the top. In addition, the number of parts is reduced by using parts made by 3D printing. Experimental results confirm that the modules can be successfully assembled by the robot’s basic movements. This modular approach not only reduces assembly time and complexity but also enhances the adaptability of robotic systems, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
