On the contrary, improper performance of self-driving cars can lead to irreparable damage. In this article, various aspects of liability and insurance of liability for self-driving cars are discussed and a set of operational solutions are proposed to determine and develop the framework of liability and insurance for self-driving cars. The results of this paper pave the way for the development of a unified regulatory framework at national and international levels that can help to create consistent standards for autonomous vehicle liability.
