Improving SEO System for Iranian Commercial Website Rankings using Fuzzy Inference System

Internet websites play a crucial role in e-commerce and digital marketing. The exponential growth of information has led to an increase in the number of websites, making search engines essential for finding relevant information. Search engines provide a vast amount of information for each query, with rankings influenced by various factors. Consequently, website managers employ Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques to achieve higher rankings and attract more visitors. While search engines publish guidelines on how factors should be used, they do not disclose the specific formula or algorithm that determines top rankings. This study introduces a fuzzy inference system designed to model the uncertain and imprecise nature of search engine algorithms. It estimates a website's rank on Google and evaluates the impact of changes in search factors on its ranking. By leveraging expert SEO knowledge, the most important factors are modeled as linguistic variables within the framework of fuzzy set theory.
