Advantage of Using AI In Education to Enhance Learning: Review and Analysis

The increasing use of educational technologies has sparked intense research into their potential to transform teaching and learning experiences. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a leader in this area, offering a wide range of tools to personalise learning, provide intelligent feedback, and adapt to individual student needs. This review paper aims to fill a crucial knowledge gap by thoroughly analysing current research on AI tools in education. We examined 51 research articles to investigate how researchers have assessed AI tools’ benefits for educators and students. Our analysis revealed recurring and emerging themes, creating a roadmap that sheds light on AI’s educational advancements while highlighting the main challenges that need to be addressed for successful implementation. Understanding the impact of AI tools on educators and students is essential at this critical juncture. By recognising both the advantages and challenges associated with AI in education, we can shape the development of pedagogically sound, ethically responsible tools. This review aims to provide educators with insights for integrating AI tools into their teaching methods, resulting in more personalised learning experiences, improved student engagement, and enhanced learning outcomes. It also emphasises addressing ethical concerns to ensure responsible and fair AI practices in education.
