Mobile App for Enhancing Accessibility Among the Visually Impaired

Over the last few years, technological advancements in mobile applications have significantly improved the quality of life for individuals with vision impairments. However, even today, there remains a significant gap in accessibility and usability for people with visual impairments. Many current apps lack the necessary accuracy, suffer from high latency, and are not easy to use. This paper presents an innovative mobile application designed specifically for blind users. The app enables users to interact with their environment and perform tasks more efficiently and is equipped with advanced AI-driven real-time object recognition, real-time text extraction, and real-time currency detection. This application addresses existing accessibility challenges, offering faster, more accurate, and user-friendly solutions that enhance autonomy and confidence among visually impaired users.
