An Efficient IoT-Enabled Women Safety Device

With rising concerns over women’s safety, developing innovative solutions to prevent assaults has become increasingly important. This paper presents a device designed to enhance personal security by incorporating an electric shocker that delivers a non-lethal 7.4V shock, sufficient to incapacitate an attacker temporarily, giving the victim time to escape or regain control of the situation. In addition to the shocker, the device is equipped with a GPS module that tracks the user’s location. The updated system sends this location data directly to a specially developed platform, monitored by police stations through a dedicated website. This allows law enforcement to track the victim’s location in real-time and respond immediately. By integrating self-defence with live location tracking, this device empowers women to take swift action in emergencies while ensuring prompt assistance from authorities.
