Generative and Predictive AI for Gaming and Motion Capture: A Review

Virtual Reality (VR) is transforming the gaming industry by offering immersive, interactive and highly realistic experiences. With advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), VR in gaming has seen significant progress in areas such as avatar animation, dynamic gameplay and real-time interaction. This paper reviews three core studies which explains briefly regarding avatar movement, behavior and fluidity in gameplay. It also aims to explore how AI-driven technologies enhance VR gaming. Additional insights from other papers provide a broader context regarding avatar embodiment, skill learning and collaborative gaming experiences. These highlight key trends and methodologies that are shaping the future of gaming in virtual environments.
