Smart Basket using RFID and Arduino Uno

The concept of Smart Trolley improves the shopping experience by automating various processes by using RFID or Radio Frequency Identification technology. It comprises RFID tags for the items in the store and an RFID reader in the trolley allowing automatic detection of products that are placed inside. When products are added to the trolley, these will be tracked, recorded in real-time, and instant totals calculated while updating the inventory. Finally, the customers would avoid the usual check-out lines since at the end of the shopping trip, the system automatically produces the bill, which can be paid digitally via the trolley for more convenience and efficiency.
