Integrating Flexible Wearable Sensors and Embodied Intelligence: Reach the Unreachable

In the field of robotic teleoperation, the integration of flexible wearable sensors with embodied intelligence has recently emerged as an innovative strategy. The adaptability and pliability of these sensors enable robots to accurately capture complex human motion data. By incorporating embodied intelligence, robots can actively engage with their environment, thus supplanting human decision-making and adaptive processes. This study explores the synergy between embodied intelligence and flexible sensors, emphasizing its role in enhancing teleoperation efficiency. We examine the distinctive properties of flexible sensors and their applications in augmenting robotic perception, alongside the role of embodied intelligence in advanced control and imitation learning. Additionally, this work involves technical challenges such as non-linear data mapping, sensitivity fluctuations, and energy efficiency, proposing potential solutions and identifying areas for future research. Through technological integration, flexible sensors and embodied intelligence have the potential to revolutionize teleoperation, enabling robots to perform tasks previously deemed unattainable.
