Electromagnetic Scattering Model of Three-Layer Vegetation

Aiming at the three-layer vegetation scattering model, this paper uses Monte-Carlo to study and calculate the canopy of the three-layer model, randomly generate discrete particles (ellipsoids) to simulate the canopy, and perform coherent superposition on the scattering field calculated by Rayleigh-Gans (GRG) method for each particle. The scattering field of the dielectric cylinder can be approximated by the internal field of the dielectric cylinder of limited length under the same physical condition. Compared with the traditional three-layer vegetation scattering model, the coupling between scattering particles in the canopy layer and the ground, the high-order scattering effect between adjacent tree trunk scatters, the attenuation and absorption of electromagnetic waves in the canopy layer and trunk layer, as well as the contribution of direct scattering from the ground to the total scattering are considered. In particular, the electromagnetic scattering model of ground trees based on Monte Carlo method is established by modifying the reflection coefficient to calculate the ground reflection field and considering the influence of ground tilt and trunk tilt on scattering.
