Impact of E-Waste on Pregnant Lady, Newborn Baby, and Fetus

Hazardous materials included in electronic trash (e-waste) can affect fetuses, neonates, and expectant mothers. Preterm birth, birth irregularities, and miscarriage are among the risks associated with pregnant women who are exposed to e-waste chemicals. Exposure to e-waste puts newborns at risk for respiratory and neurodevelopmental disorders. Developmental irregularities and growth restrictions are possible in fetuses. To reduce these risks and protect mother and child health, effective methods including appropriate e-waste discarding and public health programmes are important.
