A High-Efficient Dual-Band Reflective Linear-to- Circular Polarization Converter

In this paper, we propose a dual-band reflective linear-to-circular (LTC) polarization converter based on metasurface. The metasurface element is consist of the ground, rectangular and symmetrical notched ring-shaped patches. The element can realize both left-hand circularly polarization (LHCP) wave at 9.04-10.82 GHz and right-hand circularly polarization (RHCP) wave at 11.78-20.89 GHz. The simulation results show a high efficiency of conversion (EOC) (more than 99.5^%) across the entire frequency band.
