Experimental Analysis of Time-Domain Ultra-Wideband Radar Receiver Noise

In this paper, the time-domain UWB (ultra-wideband) radar receiver is studied from the perspective of noise analysis and processing, and the sampled noise of the time-domain UWB radar receiver under different settings is measured experimentally. The noise components and influencing factors of the measurement system are discussed, the system noise characteristics in time domain and frequency domain are analyzed, and the measurement signal is denoised by multistage wavelet transform. The measured results show that choosing a smaller time window width and more sampling points is conducive to reducing the influence of noise in the measured signal, and the wavelet transform is suitable for denoising the measured signal.
