A Method of Distributed Cluster Task Management Based on Multi-Agent Systems

This paper is oriented to the application requirements of autonomous collaborative task management of UAV formations in the future distributed combat environment. Using MAXSIM platform as the simulation engine, combined with the technology of agent and distributed bus, a scalable method of autonomous dynamic mission management for UAV is proposed. This method breaks through the rule-based autonomous management strategy. By establishing a two-level management mechanism that combines the distributed task list management based on Gantt chart and the single-platform UAV management based on agent, the dynamic management of distributed combat tasks is realized while satisfying requirements of architecture flexibility and task scalability for a future combat system. This method could lead to the comprehensive improvement of the command and control capabilities and further the tactical ability of unmanned swarm equipment in a complex and dynamic environment.
