The Impact of Machine Learning in Strength Prediction of Reinforced Concrete Beam-Column Joint

The most crucial part in Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures that is a key part in integrating structure's overall stability is beam-column joints (BCJ). If BCJ regions experienced shear failure, that could cause structure collapse. Recently, Machine Learning (ML) techniques have been playing a role in the prediction of shear strength of RC BCJ. Many researchers recently used ML different techniques in civil engineering applications generally. Shear strength prediction of RC BCJ is one of those ML applications in engineering. This paper shows different literature reviews for the impact of ML techniques in shear strength prediction for RC BCJ.
