Towards a Decision Model for Innovation Self-Efficacy: A Catalyst for Creative Behavior

This study aims to identify the impact of self-efficacy for innovation on the creative behavior (exploring opportunities, generating, promoting and implementing the creative idea) at the ministry of works in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Two hundred and seventy-eight employees were surveyed through a simple random sampling method. The analysis is based on the outcomes of the questionnaire survey that was given to a representative sample of employees at the ministry in question. The researchers hypothesized that there is a significant impact of self-efficacy for innovation on the creative behavior (exploring opportunities, generating, promoting and implementing the creative idea) at the ministry of works in the kingdom of Bahrain. Findings revealed that this hypothesis was accepted. Moreover, the results indicated that there were no significant differences with regard to the impact of self-efficacy for innovation on the creative behavior with its dimensions in question at the ministry in question due to the demographic (gender, age, qualification, years of experience and position).
