Effective Marketing Strategies to Improve Sales Performance in the Manufacture Industry

This study explores the impact of work experience, sales training, and customer relationship on sales performance at PT YZX, a leading global manufacturer in the energy and infrastructure sector. The growth of PT YZX is one of the manufacturing companies whose operations are thought to affect Indonesia's economic expansion. Data was collected from all 35 salespeople in the company using the saturation sampling method. The analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the SmartPLS program. According to the findings, work experience and customer relationship significantly improved sales performance. Simultaneously, work experience, sales training, and customer relationship affected sales performance. These findings highlight the importance of retaining experienced employees and strengthening customer relationships as key strategies to improve sales performance at PT YZX. This study provides insight for companies to focus on developing work experience and customer relationship quality to achieve optimal sales results. Therefore, PT YZX's marketing strategy could involve enhancing customer relations and work experience.
