Brain-Based Learning Theory Programme in Teaching and Decision Making Skills

The current research aims to reveal the effect of the program based on the learning theory based on brain functions and on developing achievement among second-year preparatory school students. Furthermore, reveal the effect of the program based on the learning theory based on brain functions on developing decision-making skills among students. To achieve the study goals, the approach followed is to preparing the teacher's guide according to the program based on brain functions and use the scientific steps followed in the list of decision-making skills. Eventually, the researcher prepared the teacher's guide as a tool that helps in achieving the unit's objectives, and is used as a guide when teaching the unit. Results of the study confirmed the existence of weakness in students' achievement, and improvement in decision-making skills when using the model. This study recommend that educators should pay attention to creating guides for teachers and supervisors in the field of teaching social studies with programs based on learning based on brain functions.
