OptImal Resource Allocation Strategies in Engineering Projects Using Modern Algorithms

Efficient resource allocation in engineering projects is a challenging task, especially under budget constraints and tight deadlines. Improper resource management can lead to cost overruns or significant delays in project completion. This study proposes approaches to optimizing financial decisions based on modeling and modern optimization algorithms. The problem lies in finding a balance between minimizing costs and reducing project completion time. To address this issue, a genetic algorithm and an ant colony algorithm were employed, demonstrating their effectiveness in resource allocation and cost reduction. The conducted experimental studies confirmed that the proposed approaches can significantly enhance the efficiency of managing engineering projects.
