Role of Cloud Computing in Big Data Analytics: A Scalable Data Analysis Perspective

The focus of this study is the role of cloud computing in triggering big data revolution, especially regarding scalabil- ities and efficiency boosts that are brought about by exascale systems. Along with increase in volume and variety of big data, conventional data processing infrastructure appears incapable to properly handle the huge amount of data. Cloud computing, which is a scalable environment and flexible services, is a solution in doing so but big data combined with it becomes problematic in terms of data security, real-time processing and cost man- agement as well. Based on the an in-depth literature review, well-established models and intelligent computing techniques, this project is focused at the teamwork between existing clouds and exascale platforms which tries to address these problems. Resulting in the establishment of such frameworks and strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness by putting priority on the strengths of these technologies.
