The Influence of Using Statistical Software on Educational Decision Making in Jordan Private Universities

This study aims to examine the influence of using Statistical Software (SPSS) on the educational decision-making processes of private universities in Jordan, as perceived by students. Additionally, the objective is to measure the relationships among the dimensions of Statistical Software, specifically focusing on Education & Training, and Facilities & Financial Support. The research utilized a quantitative methodology. The researcher designed the questionnaire to comprehensively cover all the variables under examination. The researcher selected a sample size of 60 students from private universities in Jordan using a simple random sample. The researcher employed SPSS version 27 for statistical analysis, which included descriptive analysis such as calculating the mean and standard deviation. Additionally, the inferential analysis encompassed regression analysis, Pearson correlations, and Cronbach's alpha. The findings show that Education & Training, Facilities & Financial Support have a significant influence on educational decision-making. In addition, the SPSS software's results showed a strong correlation between each statistical software dimension and other dimensions.
