Abstract:

The aim of this research is to identify the impact of job crafting (increase of job structural resources, reduce of obstacles to job requirements, increase of job social resources and increase of challenging job requirements) on psychological well-being of employees at Aladliya contracting establishment in Bahrain. Two hundred and twenty-four employees were surveyed through a simple random sampling method. The analysis is based on the outcome of the questionnaire survey that was given to a representative sample of employees at the company in question. The researchers hypothesized that there is a significant impact for job crafting (increase of job structural resources, reduce of obstacles to job requirements, increase of job social resources and increase of challenging job requirements) on well-being of employees. The findings revealed that this hypothesis was accepted. Moreover, results indicated that there were no significant differences with regard to the impact of job crafting with its dimensions in question on psychological well-being of employees at the company in question due to the demographics (gender, years of experience and position), while there were differences relating to the demographics (age and qualification).
