19.29-Gbps Space Division Multiplexing Visible Light Communication Based on a Micro-LED Array

We used two violet micro-LEDs on a micro-LED array for transmitters to achieve SDM VLC system. A data rate up to 19.29 Gbps over 1.2 m free space is achieved, which is the highest data rate for LED-based SDM VLC system.
