PAPR Analysis of OTFS signal using Hyperbolic Tangent Companding Technique

OTFS is one of the multi carrier modulation technique where the actual information will be stored in the delay Doppler domain. It provides superior performance than the OFDM when high Doppler’s present in the scenario and this is the current situation in the world, but it has large PAPR. To address this problem, in this work we incorporated simple known hyperbolic tangent comapnding technique. To know the effectiveness of the proposed companding, the simulations are drawn inview of various Scenarios. Simulations suggest that the HTC provides better performance than the $\mu$-law w.r.t to PAPR and BER as well.
