IoT Based ECG Monitoring System for ICU

This paper focuses on using a ECG sensor connected to IoT devices to monitor ECG signals in real-time, allowing for remote monitoring and analysis of heart activity. This can have numerous potential applications in the fields of health and medicine, making ECG monitoring more accessible and convenient. The objective of this paper is likely to develop a system that enables continuous and real-time ECG Signal monitoring using loT technology and a ECG sensor. The aim is to provide a convenient, accessible, and remote solution for ECG monitoring and potentially improve healthcare outcomes. In this paper, we demonstrate how to interface the AD8232 ECG sensor with an Arduino and visualize the ECG waveform using the Serial Plotter. Additionally, we will explore how to monitor the BIO graph online using any IT cloud platform. To achieve this, we will interface the AD8232 BIO sensor with an ESP32 and generate a BIO signal by attaching the sensor leads to the chest or hand. Using Ubidots parameters, such as the API Key or Token, we will send the BIO graph data to the cloud for real-time monitoring. This health monitoring system using technology aims to enhance healthcare quality by enabling the monitoring of health conditions, at home potentially minimizing the necessity for hospital trips. Through the integration of technology with bio sensors this initiative strives to play a role, in advancing telemedicine and tailored healthcare services.
