The natural process of genetic development in living organisms is analogous to the growth of genetic algorithms, an intelligent bionic algorithm with tremendous potential for global optimization. The cornerstone of genetic algorithms is first explained in this publication, which is based on Darwin’s “survival of the fittest.” After that, it briefly goes into the main characteristics of the algorithm and its shortcomings.
