Resource Allocation for IRS-Assisted Symbiotic Vehicular RSMA and Backscatter Communication

We develop a symbiotic operation framework of primary downlink vehicular communication using rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) and secondary backscatter communication of an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS). The framework employs alternating optimization for resource allocation, considering channel estimation errors caused by vehicular mobility.
