Implementation of Hybrid SON Framework in Small Cell Networks

This paper introduces the Self-Organizing Network (SON) framework testbed developed for the hybrid SON. The SON testbed consists of 5G small cell gNBs with distributed SON (dSON) functions, OAM server/agents, and a SON server with centralized SON (cSON) functions. Currently, we are testing a Self-Healing (SH) function in the testbed and plan to add AI/ML features in the future.
