Enhancing Climate Data Utilization: Strategies and Service Scenario

As the climate crisis deepens, various regulations and policies are being introduced to address the issue. However, significant challenges remain in effectively utilizing climate-related data. Currently, climate and environmental big data are primarily focused on storage and commercial distribution, with limited application in policy-making or environmental management. To overcome these limitations, advanced data infrastructure and analytical techniques are necessary. This paper, as part of the Climate and Environmental Data Platform for Enhancing Climate Technology Capabilities in the Anthropocene (CEDP) research and development project, proposes improvements in data management and analysis capabilities. It also introduces five climate-related service scenarios that apply these advancements, demonstrating the practical use of climate data and suggesting strategies that can contribute to solving climate challenges.
