Research and Development of Bridge Structure Analysis Module Based on SiPESC.FEMS

Based on the open structural finite element analysis software SiPESC.FEMS, this paper develops a bridge finite element analysis module for the numerical simulation and analysis of complex bridge structures, which covers a variety of finite element analysis functions, such as the strength, modal and reaction spectra of the bridge structure, and supports the processing of complex beam sections, including the variable and customized sections. Considering the effects of shear deformation, beam cross-section eccentricity and offset in the actual project, the finite element numerical simulation is systematically analyzed for the structure as a whole subjected to axial tensile and compression, transverse load, free torsion and lateral bending and other modes of stresses. Utilizing the scalability of the software architecture of SiPESC platform, the software design of factory mode is adopted to realize flexible and efficient numerical computation of various types of beam structures and beam sections in bridge structures. And through the engineering numerical examples of bridge structures, compared and analyzed with ANSYS, a widely used CAE commercial software for structural finite element, it verifies that the self-developed bridge structure analysis module has considerable computational accuracy and applicability, and provides technical support for solving the practical problems of complex bridge engineering.
