Simulation and Experimental Study of a Floating Buffer Based on Bernoulli Equation

Floating buffer technology is one of the effective ways to improve the speed of mechanism movement, reduce recoil resistance, enhance the accuracy of mechanism movement, and achieve lightweight technology. The article establishes the motion differential equation of the mechanism under continuous instantaneous impact for a high-speed floating buffer. Based on the Bernoulli equation, a calculation method for hydraulic resistance during recoil and recoil processes considering changes in needle valve flow rate was established. Solving the differential equation of the recoil process of the buffer using high-precision ordinary differential equations. Combined with experimental testing, the established buffer model was validated. The results showed that the maximum displacement of the buffer after calculation had an error of 3.7% compared to the test results, which verified the accuracy of the simulation analysis model and provided important reference for conducting research on similar problems.
