Smart Home Somatosensory Interaction Control Based on Metaheuristic Algorithm and Optical Flow Method

Since smart home somatosensory interaction requires the analysis of dynamic actions, the response effect is difficult to guarantee. To this end, a study on somatosensory interactive control of smart homes based on metaheuristic algorithm and optical flow method is proposed. When using the pyramid layered Lucas-Kanade optical flow method to identify somatosensory interactive actions, the establishment of the pyramid is achieved by recursively downsampling the original interactive action image, and the optical flow is calculated layer by layer from the highest layer downwards, using the previous layer’s, the optical flow result is used as the initial estimate of the current layer, and Lucas-Kanade iterative calculation is performed. The meta-heuristic algorithm - Genetic Algorithm (GA) is introduced, based on the somatosensory interactive action flow field, to accurately match the user’s somatosensory interactive actions with the control instructions of smart home devices to achieve corresponding responses. In the test results, the control of different home devices achieved 100.0% effective response under different gesture speeds.
